Kym Marsh recently confirmed she'd be returning to the Morning Live sofa after being absent from the show for more than six months.
The former Coronation Street star first announced she was taking a break from the breakfast show in July 2021 and later opened up about "difficulties" and "anxiety attacks."
We spoke to her co-host Gethin Jones ahead of the show's move up north and he opened up about how excited he is to be working with her once more.
He told us: "Obviously, Kym was there at the beginning and she’s had a few things going on, which we’ve talked about openly on the show, so I’m looking forward to working with her again."
In a video clip played on Morning Live last October, Kym spoke in detail about her reasons for the break.
She told viewers: “I've suffered with anxiety attacks in the past and they've come back with a vengeance.
"Life's been pretty difficult for me. I need to make a choice here about what I'm going to do. I decided to step back from Morning Live to focus on my nearest and dearest.

“You might have noticed I’ve not been around much since the end of July – well there’s been some very good reasons for that.
“I think it’s fair to say the last few months have been ridiculously busy with one thing or another for me and my family.”
While Kym has had plenty to celebrate in her personal life and got hitched to Scott Ratcliff last year, she's also been supporting her dad as he receives treatment for incurable cancer.
Now, with the show relaunching in Manchester, Kym is back with a stellar group of new co-hosts including Sara Cox,Sam Quek and Kimberley Walsh.
Revealing how he feels about the new presenters, Gethin continued: "Each and every one of my co-hosts brings something different to the show. I’m very excited to go back and be sat next to a “northern powerhouse” of a woman every day.
"I’m hoping to be able to set up a Morning Live five-a-side football team and, when the weather improves, perhaps a regular barbecue!"
