Molly-Mae Hague says anxiety has got worse as she deletes social media account

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that she’s deleted Twitter from her phone and plans on fully deleting her account in the near future.

Discussing the matter on her most recent YouTube video, Molly, 22, spoke about how she’s been suffering with bad anxiety recently, and feels a bit better after having come off Twitter.

Molly explained to her 1.62 million YouTube subscribers: “My goodness guys. What a week it has been.

“I’m kind of trying to stay off social media right now and I’ve actually deleted Twitter – well I’ve deleted the app – and I’ve never, ever felt better for it."

“Ever since entering this new life that I’ve got now and for the past couple of years, and everything that’s changed, I just think Twitter is the most toxic and horrendous platform, like, ever.”

“I think maybe in a few days I might just delete my whole account,” Molly went on.

“It’s so sad because I do love it, but it just doesn’t do anything for me. It doesn’t do anything for Tommy. It’s just not a good platform, especially at the moment.”

The 22 year old then proceeded to say that she’s currently going through “the hardest period of [her] life”.

“I’ve been dealing with emotions that I’ve never experienced before,” Molly said.

She continued: “I’ve been having a massive battle with anxiety recently which I did mention in my ‘Let's Talk’ video, but it just seems to be getting worse and worse everyday at the moment.”

“It’s not something I’ve ever really dealt with before,” the Pretty Little Thing creative director added.

She also said that things have “spiralled down” since she and Tommy, also 22, have moved home.

The pair, who met on Love Island, were forced to leave their Manchester-based penthouse earlier this year after having£800,000 worth of goods stolen from their home.

Molly and Tommy wereout celebrating her Beauty Works launchon the night of the robbery, 21 October, and have since relocated after feeling unsafe in their apartment.

To date, it’s thought there still haven’t been any arrests made.

Molly later discussed the robbery in a candid videowhere she described the ordeal as “ awful”.

She said at the time: “Basically, Tommy and I were robbed a couple of weeks ago now and it was without a doubt the worst thing that's ever happened to me – to us I'd probably say for him.

"And it was just awful, horrendous, terrible. So we've been dealing with a lot.

"Our apartment was robbed, ransacked, emptied, you name it."

“I'm sure you guys have read, but basically, what they said in the articles is true, they took everything and we were left with a lot of stuff at all,” Molly continued.
