The reaction to the Dec. 1 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians left Khloe Kardashian “frustrated,” she explained on her Instagram Story. It seems fans have been critical of the way Kardashian has seemed to forgiven her ex, Tristan Thompson, who cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods. Kardashian was happy to share her thoughts on the matter on Instagram.
Kardashian addressed her critics
Kardashian’s Instagram Story message comes on the heels of the reality star defending her friends Malika and Khadijah Haqq, after they shared on KUWTK that they had helped Thompson pick out a diamond necklace for Kardashian.
Kardashian tweeted: “I keep seeing people criticizing my best friends. My best friends would never do anything to hurt me. I can say that with full confidence!”
Kardashian also let her fans know where she’s at following some backlash she hard after the episode. She explained that she is “frustrated that people try to create something that’s not really there.”
She continued, noting that she’s looking for peace: “I don’t hold any negative or hateful feelings towards ANYONE! I mean that. Life is short! We are all humans trying to figure out this thing called life. Who am I to condemn anyone else? Yes, I’m allowed to feel hurt and pain. It would be unnatural for me to pretend as if I don’t. Personally, I don’t want to be carrying around a hateful heart. I crave peace in my life. Me holding onto hate is only going to hurt me in the end.”
“I am allowed to forgive”
Kardashian further opened up about how she wants to move on, noting: “I have chosen to NOT pollute my heart and my energy by holding onto anything negative. I am allowed to forgive. Forgiveness is a strength and not a weakness. I am allowed to forgive people but still not accept their behaviors. I’m also allowed to protect my space. I am allowed to choose who I want in my life and who I do not. I’m also allowed to wish people well and sincerely mean it. Doesn’t mean I have to be their best friend.”
Kardashian added, “I want nothing but beautiful blessings for EVERYBODY that has ever been in my life. Regardless of what they have done or not done to me.”
She further shared that she wants “people to be kinder” and acknowledged that “we may all make mistakes along the way” but can “grow” from the experience. In the end, she shared, “I want peace and happiness for ALL” adding, “I crave peace and happiness…”
She also shared her thoughts about Woods
Kardashian later posted another message on her InstagramStory to clear up any confusion about how she feels about Woods.
She explained, “…I’m seeing a lot of back-and-forth with people asking ‘why don’t I keep that same energy with Jordyn?’”
“That message is for Jordyn,” she continued, adding, “It’s for anyone else who has ever hurt me. For some reason people want to assume that I’m only talking about Tristan. This message applies to ALL parties involved in situations that have ever hurt me… I have moved on, found forgiveness and only wish you happiness and joy!”
She concluded, “We are all human and make mistakes, myselfincluded. Hate is heavy and I am tired of carrying all of that weightaround.”
