Khalid‘s “Talk” has topped Billboard‘s Pop Songs radio airplay chart dated June 29, becoming his third single to reach No. 1 on the chart.
The previous two tracks were collaborations. “Love Lies,” featuring Normani, led the chart for two weeks in September 2018, while “Eastside,” featuring Benny Blanco and Halsey, topped the chart for a week in March.
“Talk” also rose to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single, the single from Khalid’s album Free Spirit, was released on February 7.
It became Khalid’s fifth top 10 hit and his highest charting single as a solo artist.
Khalid described the song’s theme as “the beginning honeymoon stages of a relationship.”
