Katherine shared a quote from the interview Helen gave in view of her 63,100 followers: “‘I’ve lived life at 150 miles an hour is the truth of it’.”

Reflecting on the late star’s life outlook, Katherine continued: “What a luminous human being. Shocked and devastated to hear that you are gone.

“I’m going to listen to her Desert Island Discs, Bob Dylan, Rufus Wainwright… as my thoughts rest with her family.

“Oh what a loss,” she added.

Underneath followers shared they were saddened by Helen’s death, as they praised her acting talent.

One said: “A superb actress, so sad.”

Another replied: “Very sad news indeed.”

A third commented: “Yes Helen, so, so, so sad. What an inspiration.”

In her interview on BBC’s Desert Island Discs last year, Helen spoke about how she has no regrets about her past.

She shared: ‘I don’t really reflect. When I was asked to do this programme I had to look at the internet to see what I had done.

“I have lived my life at 150 miles an hour, that’s the truth of it.”

She also spoke about her loving relationship with actor and husband Damian Lewis, 50.

She continued: “We are completely different as people but we’re very similar in our values.

“I very rarely ever sort of disagree with very fundamental things like parenting, which is a real acid test I think for any couple.

“I don’t want to say too many nice things because he’s going to be roaring with laughter at the radio and tease me.”

Helen and Damian married on July 4, 2007, after they met on the set of Five Gold Rings at the Almeida Theatre.

The couple went on to have daughter, Manon, 15, and son, Gulliver, 14.

Helen tragically died of cancer on April 16, aged 52, with her spouse breaking the news on Twitter.

He said he was “heartbroken”, and that she was a “beautiful and mighty woman”.

Damian typed: “She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you.”
