Jess Wright was mum-shamed after she shared a glamorous snap of her with her teething baby son.
The former TOWIE star posed for a snap with her son Presley as part of a paid Instagram ad where she was promoting a teething gel.
In the ad, Jess is seen smiling down at baby Presley as she applies the product to his gums.
The 37 year old looked glamorous in the photo as she wore a full face of makeup and had her glossy brown hair tossed over her shoulder as she showed off her pearly white smile.
In the photo's caption, Jess wrote: "AD | Since Presley started teething, he can even struggle to eat because of the pain sometimes.
"Thankfully, I discovered the teething gel by @ashtonandparsons which has helped the discomfort fade away.
"As the discomfort has eased, Presley has started to sleep better, is happy eating and we've got his cheeky grin back, complete with the odd tooth.
"I use it up to four times a day and the soft brush applicator gently massages the gel onto his gums, and it’s comforting to know the gel is local anaesthetic free, lactose free, sugar free and alcohol free."
However, some fans weren't so impressed with the ad, with one writing in the comments: "Nobody is smiling like that when their baby is teething."
Another added: "Lovely, but wonder how much she got paid for this ad", while someone else said: "An ad… really?"
"If only I looked this happy when Jude’s crying his eyes out with his teeth," said someone else.
A fan pointed out: "This stuff is brilliant. I’m sure I didn’t look like that when my son was teething though."
However, pregnant Ashley James agreed with Jess' post and praised the gel as she wrote: "That stuff is magic!"
Another fan supported Jess against criticism as they wrote: "I think it’s great to use your platform to share information and products that some people might find helpful – and if you get paid to do this, then good good for you."
Another said: "He’s the double of daddy look how happy he makes you Jess I’m glad you got your happy ever after."
Jess and her husband William Lee-Kemp welcomed their son Presley back in May 2022, and recently jetted off for a holiday in Barbados following their first Christmas as a family of three.
Jess has been candid about some of the difficulties that come with being a new mum and last year shared that she had suffered from postnatal depression after her son’s birth.
Opening up to OK! in November 2022 , Jess confessed that she went through “a whole new level of lowness,” describing how it was important to her to use her platform to share her experience.
The star told us: "It’s incredibly important to talk about it because when you see someone else is suffering, it makes you feel you’re not abnormal.
"And it’s good for us to do it in the public eye because we’ve got such a big outreach – we can express it to so many people and they can feel like they’re not alone."
