Sarah Jayne Dunn, who first joined Hollyoaks in 1996, is said to have received a warning from executives about her stripping off online, as they say it is inappropriate due to the show’s young audience. The 40-year-old has seemingly refused to stop doing what she loves and has been reportedly asked to leave.

On Instagram last month, the actress said she felt as though she was “taking back control” with her racy pictures on Only Fans, after previously posing for lads magazines.

She said: “I’m simply moving my sexier, racier images to another platform.

“This is a decision I’ve thought long and hard about, not one I’ve taken lightly or on a whim, it’s about taking back control, about empowerment and confidence and having full power over my choices.”

She added that she loved doing photoshoots and “always will”.

“I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some pretty amazing places for photoshoots since being 17, that being said I’ve never felt in control of the content or of the finances.”

According to The Sun, bosses didn’t agree with her message and said her Only Fans content is at odds with their principles.

A spokeswoman for the show told the publication: “Hollyoaks is a youth-facing drama with many young viewers, who follow our cast very closely, both in the soap and outside of it.

“We take our responsibility to our young audience very seriously and therefore the show does not allow any Hollyoaks cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.”

They went on to say that they hoped a resolution could be reached with Sarah in keeping her on the show, but this wasn’t the case.

“We will be very sad to see her go,” they added.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Hollyoaks and Sarah for comment.

Sarah hasn’t addressed the news publicly, however she shared a cryptic post on her Instagram Story last night, in view of her 174,000 followers.

It reads: “I know as a woman I am supposed to dread and fear getting older, but love it.

“Every year I sink deeper into this bath of being exactly who I am and not apologising for it and it’s amazing.”

Earlier this week, she shared a racy snap of her in a swimsuit and boots showcasing her sensational physique.

As part of the post, she thanked fans for their support following her decision to move her content onto the subscription site.

Sarah wrote: “Strangely the few (like a handful) negative comments I’ve read or heard about have been from men rolling their eyes or other mothers saying how ‘as a mother’ I should not be conducting myself in this manner.

“I’ve said it in a previous post and I’ll say it again (but in case you need reminding/reassurance) ‘YOU CAN BE BOTH A MOTHER AND A SEXY BAD*** WOMAN!’”

The actress is married to fellow actor Jonathan Smith who she shares five-year-old son Stanley with.
