‘I’m finding my new voice’ Bob Saget in heartbreaking final post hours before sudden death

Bob Saget took to Instagram shortly before his unexpected death to share his plans with his 1.5 millions followers. The actor and comedian was found dead yesterday at a hotel in Orlando, Florida.

The cause of the beloved Full House star’s death is not yet known, but his last social media post suggested that he was looking forward to the future. 

Posting a selfie that he’d taken on stage, Bob shared his excitement about what was to come. 

He wrote: “Okay, I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity.

“Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too.

“Very appreciative and fun audiences. Thanks again to @comediantimwilkins for opening,” he continued. 

“I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. 

“I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it.

“A’ight, see you in two weeks Jan. 28 & 29 @pbimprov with my brother @therealmikeyoung,” he wrote, tagging comedy writer and director Mike Young.

“And check BobSaget.com for my dates in 2022 – Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. 

“And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this s**t. Peace out,” he concluded.

Following on from Bob’s tragic death, plenty of fans, co-stars, and fellow celebrities have paid tribute to the comedian on social media.

Comedian Mike posted a selfie of the two of them together with a heartfelt message attached.

He wrote: “Bob life won’t be the same without you. It’s that simple. My comedy will be my tribute. 

“You taught me so much and took care of me everywhere we went. I love you Bob. The tears will come and go for a long time. 

“We spoke nearly every day. We worked nearly every week for ten years. We will watch out for Kelly and check in on the kids Bob I promise. 

“There will never be another like you. To work without you already hurts. I’m Heartbroken and sick that I’m typing this. Waiting for your text man praying it’s a joke. Love you.”

 

A number of other celebrities paid their respects to Bob under his last Instagram post, with Green Day’s Mike Dirnt writing: “RIP Brother!” 

Comedian Kevin Nealon added: “God bless you, Bob. It’s been a lot of years with us.” 

Musician Stephen Bishop commented: “My dear friend Bob has passed away, it hurts so much.”

Actor Xander Berkeley wrote: “Sending you on with so much love buddy. From everyone who you knew and all the millions who knew you.”
