Married at First Sight star Nikita Jasmine, 26, has apologised for her behaviour after E4 bosses decided to drop her from the show. Following the heated scenes that aired last night, Nikita has issued an apology after her departure was confirmed.
“I am truly gutted to have left the show,” Nikita told The Sun.
“I loved every minute of the experience but it was a rollercoaster of emotions, and sometimes they got the better of me.
“But that’s me as a person and I am truly sorry for any upset I caused during my time in the experiment.
“However, I will always stand up for what I believe in,” she added.
Viewers of the programme will have seen Nikita marry model Ant Poole.
They were one of the first on the series to have tied the knot and have not really seen eye to eye since.
During Wednesday night’s show, Nikita and her husband met up with the other couples for a meal following their honeymoon.
The newlywed was seen having a row with one of her co-stars before revealing her plan to leave the show.
In the expletive-laden exchange, Nikita told fellow contestant Jordan Mundell: “Speaking to me mate like s***! Don’t speak to me like a little f***ing divvy!
“I’m leaving the f***ing show, I’m leaving anyways! I’m going!”
The comments were taken very seriously by bosses who asked Nikita to leave the experiment.
“The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond,” they explained.

“During filming, a situation escalated off-camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.
“As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment.
“All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved,” a spokesperson told The Mail Online.
Nikita will make her official exit on Thursday’s instalment.
It’s not been revealed whether Ant will leave the show with his partner.
However, he took to Instagram last night to share his reaction to the most recent instalment.
“I’m just trying to take in that episode. That was chaotic and my head is spinning…
“And now I have got producers messaging me, telling me, ‘just wait till you see tomorrow’s episode’.”
Married at First Sight UK continues tonight on E4 at 9pm.
