H.E.R. will curate and headline the inaugural Lights On Festival on September 14 at Northern California’s Concord Pavilion.
The R&B multi-instrumentalist announced the news on Twitter, revealing she will be joined by artists such as Jhene Aiko and Daniel Caesar.
“Dream come true! My very own @LightsOnFest is taking over @ConcordPavilion on Saturday, September 14 with performances by me, @JheneAiko, @DanielCaesar and more,” H.E.R. tweeted.
The music festival features several up-and-coming R&B artists.
“Concord Pavilion is the ultimate venue. It is the perfect place to bring people from all over the [San Francisco] Bay,” said the Grammy-winning singer.
She added, “I have many memories watching shows and DREAMING I’d be able to perform there. The Bay Area is my home…..it’s a dream come true to host my festival there.”
Live Nation Urban President Shawn Gee said in a statement that “it’s an honor to be able to help this amazing artist execute her vision.”
