Gwyneth Paltrow Calls Her Children ‘D**k’ When Talking About Parenting

Making an appearance on ‘Today’ show to promote new TV series ‘The Politician’, the ‘Avengers’ actress has to be bleeped as she admits that Apple and Moses could be tiresome at times.

AceShowbizGwyneth Paltrow tested censors during an appearance on America’s “Today” show on Thursday, September 26, as she got passionate about parenting.

The actress, who turns 47 on Friday, was asked about raising two teens – her daughter Apple and son Moses – and her comments had to be bleeped as she explained the pair could be tiresome at times.

“They’re really coming into themselves,” she said. “They’re hilarious. They’re smart. They can talk. They can sort of muse about things. It’s the greatest.”

“They can be kind of, you know, d**ks once in a while.”

When she was told she had been bleeped, the actress chuckled and said, “Sorry America.”

Gwyneth, who was on the breakfast news show to promote her new TV series “The Politician“, also opened up about her part in the Harvey Weinstein scandal after New York Times journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey named her among the women who helped them research the 2017 article they wrote, which exposed the movie mogul’s bad behaviour and alleged sexual misconduct.

The actress, who worked with Harvey on several film projects, explained she decided to help the writers in the hope her actions would help create a better future for her daughter.

“I was really scared… but I really felt like it was time,” she said. “Having a teenage daughter… and worrying about her going into the workplace and feeling like if there was ever a chance that there could be a cultural shift on this stuff, I wanted to participate… I feel proud that I had a small part in it.”

In their book, “She Said”, Twohey and Kantor reveal Paltrow hosted a dinner for some of the high-profile women who were planning to come forward with allegations against Weinstein and Harvey arrived at her door.

“That was a surreal moment in the whole story, for sure,” she added.
