Former Geordie Shore star Gary Beadle was surprised by his new wife Emma McVey on their wedding day with a performance by James ‘Arg’ Argent.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, the couple have revealed that The Only Way Is Essex star Arg serenaded their guests with a collection of cover songs after the bride, 28, secretly planned the special moment.
The couple, whose beautiful wedding pictures can be seen here, got hitched at the stunning Merrydale Manor in Cheshire on 9 July.
Gaz, 33, delightedly said of Arg's star turn: “That was a surprise from Emma!”
Emma added: “So the thing is, Gary had no involvement in the wedding – he didn’t even want to come to the food tasting!
"But the one thing he did want was a fun wedding. I knew I had to make it good, so I got Arg down to sing for it. He got everyone going, it was really funny.
“I’ve known him for a while and I think we have a mutual friend in the hotel PR, so he said he’d come down as a surprise," she said.
Mum of two Emma also revealed Arg, 33, who recently underwent gastric sleeve surgery and is hoping to shed 14 stone, was a big hit with her family.
“My mum loved him!” she said. “He sang a few songs and everyone was dancing. He did a fantastic job.”
Arg was the only celebrity guest at the pair’s nuptials, and while the couple say it wasn’t deliberate, Gary admits his life has drastically changed since he found fame on Geordie Shore.
He explained: “If we’d have got married four or five years ago, it would’ve been mental.

"Our lives are different now but back then we used to see a lot of celebs out and about at events and stuff.
"But I’m not gonna invite a famous person to my wedding just because they commented on an Instagram post or something. I don’t care to have a “celebrity guest list'."
