Coleen Rooney looks pensive as she steps out day before Wagatha Christie verdict

Coleen Rooney has been spotted running errands in Cheshire as she gets set to finally find out the verdict of her and Rebekah Vardy's Wagatha Christie trial on Friday 29 July.

The 36 year old looked pensive as she took a phone call while walking in Alderley Edge on Thursday 28 July, with her foot still strapped up in a moon boot.

Coleen, who was spotted at Wimbledon with her husband Wayne, 36, earlier this month, cut a casual figure in a pair of animal print leggings and a black t-shirt with her brunette locks swept back in a low ponytail.

She finished off her look with a thin gold necklace and matching bracelet, and could be seen chatting away on her phone as she made her way down the street.

The mum-of-four, who shares sons Kai, 12, Klay, nine, Kit, six, and four year old Cass with her former footballer husband, is set to finally find out the verdict of her and Rebekah's Wagatha Christie trial on 29 July after weeks of waiting.

According to The Mirror, the judgment in Vardy v Rooney will be handed down by Mrs Justice Steyn at 12 noon on Friday 29 July.

She and Rebekah, 40, will not be attending court and the verdict will be delivered remotely.

Rebekah, who is married to Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy, 35, is suing Coleen for libel after she accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking fake stories about her back in October 2019.

The explosive seven-day long trial took place in May with the closing arguments being set out on 20 May, but Coleen and Wayne had jetted off on a family holiday with their sons meaning they missed the final day of the trial.

Coleen's barrister David Sherborne apologised for the couple's absence on the day, saying: "They intended no disrespect to the court."

Mr Sherborne then claimed that Rebekah "regularly and frequently" leaked information from his client's private Instagram account and went on to claim that Rebekah's evidence is "entirely unreliable".

Hugh Tomlinson, who is Rebekah's lawyer, admitted that the mum-of-five had "obviously made mistakes" and that she had trusted "someone she shouldn't have" – referring to her former agent Caroline Watt, who was absent from the trial. Mr Tomlinson insisted that Rebekah is telling the truth however.
