Charley Webb, 32, was out with her children at a local pumpkin patch when she got caught in a torrential downpour. The Emmerdale actress revealed that she had tried to put on a brave face but inside she was “fuming” over being stuck outside in the bad weather.

Charley said on her Instagram story: “I’ve got to pretend be enthusiastic about pumpkin picking in the rain. I’m not enthusiastic. I’m fuming.”

The mum-of-three, who shares sons Buster, 10, Bowie, four, and Ace, one, with her husband Matthew Wolfenden, later shared a seemingly carefree snap of her pumpkin picking with her hood up.

Uploading a photo of her youngest son in a wheelbarrow, Charley wrote on Instagram: “Pumpkin picking with my favourite tiny humans. I love getting days like these, they’re so precious.

The 32-year-old actress, who launched her own business, selling Scandinavian-inspired toys online, has also recently built a summer house in her garden to use as a home office.

With three kids at home during October half-term, she unsurprisingly told fans that she was struggling to get much work done in her house.

“We’re going to use it for @nordi_babi and Matthew also writes so he’ll use it for that too, she captioned a video showing the summer house in situ in the garden.

“Can’t get any work done with the noise in our house,” Charley informed her 471,000 followers

The TV star said the new addition it still required some painting and furniture to kit it out.

She also discussed the possibility of having a pizza oven installed nearby on the patio.

“I really wish I’d recorded the build of the summer house,” she could be heard saying in the social media video.

“The garden is in such a mess because obviously the grass has got ruined from the builders but we are having it redone,” the Emmerdale actress explained.

The soap star added: “That is where we’re going to work in there. Like a little office.

“It’s really cute, I love it.”

The actress’s eldest son Buster is currently preparing to attend secondary school next year, which she described as being a “stressful” time.

Charley told her followers: “The thought of him going to high school really stressed me out.

“I can’t believe we’re having to choose his high school from a video.”

“School is so important, they spend so much time there, and I chose Buster and Bowie’s primary school purely from the way it felt.

“It was nothing to do with Ofsted…it was the teachers, and the pupils, and how the school felt,” she added.

Charley and Matthew’s son Bowie only recently joined his older brother at school, so with Buster preparing to move onto higher education, this will be the only year the two will cross over.

In September, the actress marked the huge milestone with a collage of several adorable family photos on her Instagram story.
