Journalist Celia Walden, 45, has branded her former Good Morning Britain presenter husband, 56, “handsy”, in a revealing snap of the power couple in the back of a black cab. The couple, who have been married for more than 10 years, often give followers an insight into their lives together and this candid snap was certainly no exception.

Sharing the intimate snap with her 37,000 followers, Celia gave her followers an insight into her and her husband’s time together.

The revealing picture featured the mum-of-one seated in the back of a black cab, donning a pair of black, over the knee boots and a pink coat.

Her husband’s left hand was placed protectively on top of her crossed leg while he too adopted a similar position.

The Telegraph columnist captioned the snap: “NSICs, we used to call them when I was young and single.

“Not Safe In Cabs. I only went and married one #handsyhubby #haveyousanitised.”

Fans took to the picture to comment on the show of affection.

One chided the former newsreader for wearing his socks incorrectly, which Celia said was her husband’s “favourite comment”.

They wrote: “Piers, you have got your socks on the wrong feet, the logo should be on the outside!

Another also commented on Piers’ leg position, adding: “A most elegantly turned gentleman’s ankle.”

Despite the author tagging her husband in the post, Piers also commented.

He simply wrote: “That’s not my hand.”

The duo have undoubtedly been spending more time together since Piers made the decision to leave ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain in March.

Since coronavirus restrictions were lifted on April 12 and outdoor hospitality has opened up, the pair have been making the most of dining outdoors.

Days ago, the ITV presenter took to social media to brag about enjoying a £1,300 bottle of red wine during an “early evening London pandemic soiree”.

Taking to Instagram, Piers shared the picture of the 1916 Montrose bottle in view of his 1.6million followers.

As well as two bottles of red wine, the star grazed on a bowl of salted nuts and had two cigars ready to be smoked.

Referencing the lavish table, one follower revealed their envy over the 105-year-old bottle of wine the former newsreader was enjoying.

They wrote: “Oh I love to see how the other half live, it’s great, enjoy!

“You are oysters and champagne and I am cockles and a lager!”

Piers’ fellow ITV colleague Phillip Schofield commented with three applauding hand emojis.
