Carrie Underwood‘s June 9 Cry Pretty Tour show at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto has been canceled due to the NBA finals.
The venue made the announcement on Twitter, saying, “Due to the Raptors advancing to the NBA Finals & the technical set up requirements of the league, the Carrie Underwood concert on June 9, 2019 will be rescheduled to a later date still to be announced.”
All tickets for the June 9 concert will be valid for the newly announced date, Scotiabank Arena tweeted.
The Toronto Raptors earned a trip to the NBA finals with a thrilling win over the Milwaukee Bucks last Saturday night.
The seven-game finals series, between the Raptors and reigning champions the Golden State Warriors, will begin on May 30 and could run through June 16 if it remains undecided.
Earlier, Twenty One Pilots had to postpone their second show at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto due to the NBA finals.
