Cardi B’s ‘Up’ Jumps To Top Spot On Billboard Hot 100

Cardi B‘s “Up” has surged 6-1 on the Billboard Hot 100, hitting the top spot for the first time and earning the singer her fifth No. 1 overall, the most among female rappers.

The song, which debuted at No. 2 five weeks ago, was runner-up for three weeks.

Cardi B’s performance of “Up” as part of a medley with Megan Thee Stallion, at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards on March 14, helped lift the song to the top of the latest chart.

“Up” earned 22.7 million U.S. streams and logged 18,000 downloads in the tracking week ending March 18, according to MRC Data. The numbers were down 5% and up 96%, respectively from a week earlier.
The song attracted 34.9 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 7%) in the week ending March 21.

“Up” concurrently rebounds 5-1 and 4-1, respectively, for a fourth week each atop the multi-metric Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.

On the Streaming Songs chart, “Up” advanced 5-3. On Digital Song Sales, the song moved up 7-3 and on Radio Songs, it rose 17-14.
