Ant McPartlin and new wife Anne-Marie Corbett enjoy dog walk ahead of I’m A Celeb launch

Ant McPartlin enjoyed a casual stroll in London on Tuesday with wife Anne-Marie Corbett and their dogs ahead of the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! launch.

The show sets to air later this month and until then, the 45-year-old seems to be making sure he gets in all the quality time he can before his presenting duties kick off.

Ant was pictured looking effortlessly cool in a black parka jacket, T-shirt and jeans, a beret and sunglasses, while wife Anne-Marie was wrapped warm in a long black puffer coat.

The married couple were spotted engaging in long conversation amid their morning walk, perhaps discussing their upcoming journey to Wales where Ant will host I’m A Celeb with Declan Donnelly.

His appearance comes after getting in hot water with fans when a behind-the-scenes clip from the I’m a Celeb trailer was posted to Ant and Dec’s Instagram page.

In the video, Ant is dressed as a knight and is filmed wiggling about while sitting on the small Shetland pony that featured in the show’s latest trailer.

“Boogie knights. So hot to trot right now on the clip clop scene,” the clip is captioned.

Ant is heard in the footage saying the pony was “doing a little dance” in reference to the animal pacing around restlessly, while Dec is seen on a bigger horse that is shuffling around.

Later on in the clip, Ant is filmed feeding the horse afterwards.

“This is what you get for being a good boy,” he’s recorded saying.

“Sorry, love you two usually but that’s not right,” wrote one follower.

“I’m shocked this was allowed! Ant is much too big for that small pony! So disappointed,” commented another.

“That’s not cool guys. The reason that pony is dancing around like that is because of the weight on his back,” one fan added.

“That pony should only carry the weight of a small child on his back, not a full-grown man in armour. The horse is clearly not happy which doesn’t make it very funny.”

PETA released a statement in response, ridiculing the onset antics captured and condemning production for allowing “cheap laughs” at the expense of animal welfare, urging them to come up with “more humane ways” to promote the show.

The new trailer for I’m a Celeb dropped in October and showcased a medieval theme that saw Ant and Dec in their knightgear riding horses against the backdrop of Gwrych castle – where the show will take place.

Rumoured contestants of the show this year included Frankie Bridge, Adam Woodyatt and Richard Madeley.
