Angels & Airwaves have had to reschedule the dates on the second leg of their winter tour after guitarist Tom DeLonge was diagnosed with a respiratory infection.
In a statement posted to the band’s Instagram page, they revealed no specifics about the illness, only mentioning that it is particularly “nasty.” They also confirmed that the tickets purchased for the previous dates can be used to attend the new string of concerts.
“Unfortunately, Tom has come down with a nasty upper respiratory infection and the upcoming Leg 2 of the winter tour are being rescheduled,” the band wrote. “New dates below. All tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored.”
Having released their most recent album, We Don’t Need to Whisper Acoustic, nearly three years ago, the band embarked on their first tour in seven years earlier this winter and also released two new singles, “Rebel Girl” and “Kiss And Tell.”
